ABOUT TORREGROSSA FASHIONS

Torregrossa was founded in January 2010 by sisters, Bridget and Megan Torregrossa in New York City. Bridget is an alumna of Marymount Manhattan College, in NYC, with a degree in Professional and Promotional Communications. Since graduating, she has worked for Burberry in public relations, making quite a name for herself. During her time at Burberry, Bridget was a recipient of the coveted Burberry Icon Award for "Innovation". Megan an alumna of FIT, in NYC, graduated with a degree in Accessory Design. She has been designing and creating handbags since a very young age and is at the forefront of their design process.

Bridget and Megan come from a family with a long line of tradition and history. The name, Torregrossa, means "large tower" in Italian. The richly imagined, description of the Italian name, Torregrossa, comes to life in their family crest. The crest is a large tower, flanked with three stars on each side. A prominent crown sits above the tower, which is perched by an eagle with spread wings. This creative symbolism of their last name is the logo of their brand and will always be synonymous with the quality Torregrossa represents.
